Writing in Blank Verse

Len Krisak

A user-friendly study of un-rhymed iambic pentameter throughout the history of English poetry. We'll analyze many examples of the form, including narrative, dramatic monologue, and dialog, then leap in to write our own blank verse. Surrey, Shakespeare, Milton, Wordsworth, Browning, Frost, Robinson, and Stevens will receive the most attention.
